Good diversification is half the battle

Investors are always well advised to follow one of the fundamental principles of successful investing: broad diversification. A much more difficult question is deciding when the best time has come to make an investment. How does one recognise whether the time is right to enter the capital market?

Thenew Raiffeisen-PlanInvest meets both these needs: as an investment fund, it fundamentally fulfils the requirement of broad diversification, because funds function sort of like a pot full of various ingredients, i.e. asset classes. This broad diversification lowers the risk of the overall investment.

Raiffeisen-PlanInvest not only invests the capital in a pot, it divides the capital into various pots, as there are investments in a range of funds. The target is a distribution of around 25% equity funds (max.: 50%) and 75% bond funds.

Timing is everything − right?
One of the special aspects of the new Raiffeisen-PlanInvest is that you no longer have to decide what is the best time to enter the market. You invest your capital once, but the fund builds up an investment on the capital market in a step-by-step manner. Thus, you can gradually build up a larger and larger amount of assets in the securities markets, without having to worry about the timing of the investments.
